I posted info on this event already. Please look at old postings 2. Just heard Veg New's sold out, recent fund raising event last thursday generated over 240 participants. 3. Great cooking item. Vegan Thai Tom Yam (Yum) paste for Hot and Spicy soup - Spicy Hot & Sour Paste by Shanggie. Yellow, Green and white label on a fat jar. available at a Chinese Market on the corner of Clement and 5th Ave. 16 oz for $2.12 each bottle. You can control the spiciness of the soup. All vegan, no msg, no preservatives, it's the ONLY type of paste among all the other nasty stuff that's commonly sold. Feel free to buy extras for friend, so it will encourage store managers to stock more healthy vegan food. If you see something similar sold at other stores, pls post to the veggie list!
