Professor Dan Brook to Speak on Wed., July 9 at the Red Victorian

Dan Brook, who is a frequent contributor to this Board, will be the

presenter at our regular Wed. evening dinner at the Red Victorian.

Dan is Associate Professor of Sociology at Cal State San Jose,

acclaimed author, activist and lecturer on topics ranging from animal

rights advocacy to ecology to vegan lifestyle, and more. Come next

Wed., July 9 at 6 p.m., and enjoy a scrumptious vegan dinner followed

by a much-anticipated presentation by Professor Brook. Location is

the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco. There is no

admission charge. Donations are appreciated. To help cover costs,

minimum donation of $10.00 is suggested. It would also be nice to

give an honorarium to Professor Brook.
