Thank you! ************************** Recently, I was invited to open a blog on the Huffington Post by Adriana Huffington that addressed the views that I have in our book, " The China Study " , among other sources. I was asked to submit an opening statement as to my background, etc., which I did. This is found at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/t-colin-campbell/the-china- study_b_107860.html I believe that this is an exceptional opportunity to develop a dialog on the role of nutrition in health. As many of you know, I did not arrive at my conclusions because of preconceived notions that I wanted to promote vegetarianism or veganism. I simply obtained this view based on our long time-diet, nutrition and health research program, mostly at Cornell University, along with the clinical evidence of practitioners like Drs. John McDougall, Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr, Dean Ornish, Pamela Popper, Joel Fuhrman, Hans Diehl and many others (actually, I believe that, according to current practices and understandings, there are several problems with advocating vegetarian or vegan approaches to health--I much prefer our understanding what the concept of nutrition really means). In any event, I suggest that this is an excellent opportunity to develop this view and I suggest that, should you be interested, you may wish to send a comment. I also welcome--especially welcome-- anyone who disagrees with this view. This is really about the search for truth. It is necessary to Sign Up and/or Log In to post comments and use the site.
