This family oriented event will provide a once in a lifetime

opportunity to learn more about the Victory Garden movement and

enjoy classic carnival style games that make learning about

sustainability fun!

See the World Famous Victory Garden in person - Before it's gone!

A highlight of Saturday's event will be the Sustainable Living

Roadshow.

Bicycle Powered Stage: This Stage will feature live music, puppetry,

poetry, speakers and more.

Workshops: A series of experiential educational workshops are

featured in a tent.

Featured Workshops include : Urban Gardening, Permaculture

Principles, Clean Energy Overview, Conscious Consumerism, Basics of

Biodiesel, Mushrooms and Beyond, Greening your Life, Bicycle

Mechanics

Clean Energy Showcase: A variety of alternative fuel vehicles and

interactive displays demonstrate the different types of non-

petroleum based fuel vehicles and renewable energy technologies

currently available, and the local resources to integrate these

technologies.

Eco-Info Zone: The Eco-Info Zone showcases a library of books,

films, magazines, environmental education curricula, grassroots

informational 'zines', how-to brochures and pamphlets that broaden

exposure to a variety of progressive ideas and information.

Natural Health and Healing Farmacy: The Natural Health & Healing

Farmacy is designed to introduce different perspectives of natural

medicine, health-care, healing products and to highlight local

resources to utilize these practices

Awakened Art Garden: An exhibit of visionary and environmental

artists, featuring an interactive Earth Mandala, made out of earthen

and recycled materials.

Green Market Place: The Green Market Place is designed to introduce

and educate people about socially and environmentally conscious

companies; organic, safe and earth-friendly products; and a variety

of progressive services.

Conscious Carnival Midway: The Conscious Carnival Midway engages

participants in entertaining and educational ways. Through games of

chance and interactive demonstrations, participants have fun while

discovering solutions to some of today's environmental issues.
