The chosen candidate will work in the school's cafeteria with a kitchen manager, kitchen helper and a dishwasher. Our service features healthy entrees made from scratch, organic fruit & salad bars, plus fresh baked snacks. The cook/chef will be responsible for: Creating and serving daily specials to compliment the main entree delivered from our central kitchen (normally vegetarian). Finishing entrees like pizza & pasta on-site. Occasionally working from our central kitchen for grilling, etc. and then going to the school. Helping with salad/fruit bar set-up and break down. Maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen. Assist with ordering supplies/foods/beverages. This position is on a school schedule, no work in the summers or during holidays. Employment begins September 3rd. Monday thru Friday 7am to 2pm $15.50/hr. Health benefits are provided after three months of successful employment.
