they posted this again, I think the pay is too low

I'm not in the food industry, because I know it's HARD work and LOW pay

However, I noticed there's more and more demand for healthy veggie foods.

In the old days, Most chefs only know how to make hamburgers!

Our business provides cafeteria food services to private schools and are in need

of a cook/chef for one of our locations. The chosen candidate will work in the

school's cafeteria with a kitchen manager, kitchen helper and a dishwasher. Our

service features healthy entrees made from scratch, organic fruit & salad bars,

plus fresh baked snacks.

 

The cook/chef will be responsible for:

 

Creating and serving daily specials to compliment the main entree delivered from

our central kitchen (normally vegetarian).

Finishing entrees like pizza & pasta on-site.

Occasionally working from our central kitchen for grilling, etc. and then going

to the school.

Helping with salad/fruit bar set-up and break down.

Maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen.

Assist with ordering supplies/foods/beverages.

 

This position is on a school schedule, no work in the summers or during

holidays. Employment begins September 3rd.

Monday thru Friday

7am to 2pm

$15.50/hr.

Health benefits are provided after three months of successful employment.
