Guest guest
>This Wednesday evening at 6 p.m., come enjoy a delicious vegan dinner >prepared by Patricia Allen Koot, N.E. ... Well it looks like we're finally getting a few clear nights to do vegan astronomy! So David Koot, myself, and Adrian have decided to plan a star party right after David and Patricia's dinner on Wednesday. For those not attending the dinner, meet us at the USS San Francisco Memorial parking lot above Pt. Lobos/Land's End at 8:40pm on Wednesday Aug. 27. (n.b.: If you don't have a car, you can get there easily by taking the 38 bus to 48th Ave and then strolling up the hill) With help from Adrian's medium-sized telescope, you will get to see many amazing sights including the milky way, Jupiter and its moons, beautiful star clusters (including the 3rd brightest globular cluster in the entire sky), distant galaxies and nebulas, and nifty double stars.
