$20 benefit dinner for YES on 2! (tax and tip included)

 

5-7 courses (the more attendies, the more dishes we can try together), 

dinner includes brown rice and tea

 

I've done a lot of research and will order the best entrees from the

restaurant.  (with little or no fake meat dishes)

 

B. said the Tofu scramble is the best he ever had....so let's find out

together..

When I first walked in, I can tell right away, everything in the restaurant was

done professionally. ... From the interior designed by a designer from Taiwan,

to the State-of-The-Art huge flat screen TVs.  (3 of them)

 

Of all the Loving Hut restaurants, this is the most beautiful.....   The stained

glass windows with brass sidings from Taiwan were left behind from the previous

restaurant.

 

Loving HUt in Milpitas has a smaller kitchen than Vegetarian House in SJ,

therefore it has a smaller menu.  If you don't like fake meat you can sub with

non fake meat. (warning lots of fake meat)

 

Crispy Mushroom Delight, Spicy Cha Cha, Joy Luck Deluxe is worth going for.

The Clay Pot sensation is good but it lacked vegetables and l/2 of the entree

is  brown sauce.  Formosa Noodle Soup is good but it's mostly fake meat.  My

take out menu said it had fried silken tofu, which I didnt' see in my dish.

 

ONLY this restaurant has homemade " cheese " cake "

 

Just be aware, that each restaurant is VERY different and the menu changed quite

a bit in the beginning to make improvements.

This is just a takeout deli style place that offers entrees, salads, etc... for

$8.95

It has 2 or 3 raw dishes, such as fresh fruit, raw fetticini and salad

 

There's lots of competition in this area with other established deli and coffee

shops.... plus the rent is not cheap in this area.

 

I'll suggest to them if they can offer discounts to students at the l/2 hr

before closing.   It would be great to introduce students to delicious foods

like theirs plus the organic coffee and salads are being thrown out anyway...

Cakes are sold in all their restaurants.

 

You are not allowed to bring out side food, including your own cake.

 

As I said, the menu will change weekly until things get stablized.

Just looking at their web site, you can tell they spent a lot of time making

this happen....
