Wild Mushroom Soup

Stuffed Pumpkins (stuffed with Tempeh, Lotus Roots, Long Beans in a

Thai Green Curry)

Sauteed Greens with Olives and Capers

Wild Rice and Brown Rice Pilaf with Dried cranberries, Pine Nuts and

Thyme

Spiced Cranberry Port Sauce

Apple Pie with Walnut-Date-Vanilla Crust

Chef Phil's Pumpkin Pie

 

Chef Philip Gelb

 

Philip Gelb is a vegan chef with his own personal chef and catering

business, In The Mood for Food which he started 4 years ago providing

anything from an intimate dinner for 2 to a large event for 200. He

focuses on local, seasonal, organic ingredients to produce menus

fusing traditional ideas from Japan, China, Southeast Asia with a

vivid imagination and a flair for delightful, innovative culinary

treats. Although he is a self taught chef, he has been teaching

cooking for several years. In addition to his work as a chef, Philip

Gelb is also a professional musician and music teacher with an

international reputation having performed all over the US and in

Japan, Canada and Europe and has released over 10 CDs under his own

name and appearing on dozens of others.
