Guest guest
Dear Friends, Gentle Thanksgiving is an opportunity to encourage friends, family and neighbors to adopt compassionate alternatives to cruel turkey dinners. Join FARM in publicizing the benefits of a vegan diet this holiday season by getting active in your community. Here are just a few ways you can participate: - Request free handouts for distribution. Each one offers a free Veg Starter Guide and weekly recipes. Give them to family and friends, and distribute them at veg-friendly locations around your community. Request some now at www.gentlethanksgiving.org/eventReg.php - Host a private Gentle Thanksgiving dinner. Invite family, friends, and acquaintances to join you - it's a friendly way to introduce the great taste and many benefits of a cruelty-free diet to those around you. - Coordinate a public Gentle Thanksgiving meal. A great form of outreach, public vegan dinners can be held at local churches, community centers, veg-friendly restaurants, or any other appropriate location. Consider making it a potluck, hiring a caterer, or asking volunteers to donate vegan food for the occasion. Visit www.GentleThanksgiving.org for more ideas on how to get active. Thanks for helping us spread the message of compassion! Sincerely, Jen Riley Program Director Gentle Thanksgiving is a campaign of FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement), a non-profit, national advocacy organization promoting plant-based (vegan) diets to save animals, reduce global warming, conserve environmental resources, and improve public health.
