I just want to encourage you to come to the SF LiFE February 1 meeting.

All can come for free for the lecture after 2:15 pm ifyou do not want to join us

for the " lunch " at 1:00.

 

The location is 630Valencia Street (near 17th-Mission Police Station Community

Room).

 

Dr. Alan Goldhamer is our speaker. We are very fortunate to have Dr.Goldhamer as

our speaker. Alan Goldhamer, D.C., is the president of the

InternationalAssociation of Hygienic Physicians. He is also the director of

theTrueNorth Health Center. The Center, which is located in Santa Rosa,Calif.,

specializes in fasting supervision, and is one of only twoin-patient facilities

in the world that trains and certifies physiciansin that specialty. Since 1984

he has supervisered the care of over 7,000patients on water-only fasting from

periods ranging from 5-40 days.Dr. Goldhamer completed his chiropractic studies

at Western StatesChiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, and completed his

internshipin fasting supervision at the Arcadia Health Center in Australia,

underthe direction of Dr. Alec Burton.Dr. Goldhamer is the author of The Health

Promoting Cookbook, co-authorof The Pleasure Trap, and he recently participated

in the production oftwo new videos on vegan cuisine and fasting.

 

POTLUCK GUIDELINES:If you want to come for the raw vegan potluck there is charge

of $3for non-members who bring a raw vegan potluck (serving at least 10-12)and

no charge for members who bring a raw vegan potluck. However, ifyou do not bring

a potluck to share, then you will need to pay anadditional $5 for the

lunch.*Please bring your own plate and utensils. Try to prepare your potluckat

home instead of using the Community Room facilities. The Food prepspace in the

Community Room is very limited and does not offer optimumfood safety conditions.
