We are delighted to have launched our new website for the T. Colin

Campbell Foundation, a foundation whose mission is to further

education in nutrition that emphasizes the exceptional health benefits

of consuming plant-based foods. We are writing to you and others

because of your demonstrated interest in the message of The China

Study, now established as a national best seller more than three times

over.

Because there is no person in America whose life is not touched by our

health crisis, whether directly or through a loved one, it is our

responsibility to do everything in our power to alleviate these

problems. It is therefore our unique privilege to share our solutions,

as well as asking you to join us in the effort.

I have given more than 250 lectures since its publication 4 years ago

and has received exceptionally large number of positive compliments

(some may be seen on Amazon.com). One of the chief questions asked of

me is " What next? " The website that we have produced during the past

year, thanks to the generosity of several individuals, is our response

to this question.

Among other endeavors, the two most prominent projects at present are

(1) a curriculum of accredited on-line courses on plant-based

nutrition hosted by eCornell, Inc., an online educational company

wholly-owned by Cornell University, and (2) a social networking site

for individuals (both patients and survivors) diagnosed with a

significant diseases who desire to share their experiences in using a

plant-based diet. The course contains lectures adapted from a highly

successful course previously offered for undergraduate credit in

Cornell's Department of Nutritional Sciences. The first offering was

sold out in only two weeks, and subsequent course discussions were the

most active ever experienced by eCornell in their company history. The

online network at its launch has over 300 people waiting to share

their success stories of reversing cancer, heart disease, diabetes,

and a host of other illnesses. We have received clear feedback that

what we have begun is greatly needed.

We have created a small pdf booklet outlining our accomplishments,

plans, and current needs for your review. Please click here to read

our 2008 Progress Report.

We have a very exciting future, as our activities will offer a major

contribution to our own health, that of our friends and families, and

to our environment. Educating the public on the value of a plant-based

diet is an immediate and direct way to mitigate some of major problems

that now beset our country and the world community, problems such as

control of health care costs, several major environmental crises, and

unnecessary violence.

However, in order for us to make this progress we will require

additional funding. We would be most honored if we might enlist you

and your network of like-minded friends to help us in this effort. We

also would be doubly honored if you would use our programs, perhaps

enrolling in our courses (we plan a full curriculum beyond the first

course just begun), perhaps participating in our online community.

We will do our best to cover some of our basic costs but we will need

additional support to develop what we envision to be a very exciting

and productive initiative in seeking solutions to problems that now

trouble our country. Your support is crucical in this effort. Thanks

to our team, our website is now equipped to accept donations. Click

here to make an online donation now.

If you are interested in making a larger gift, please contact me

directly at tcc1.

Thank you for your support,

T. Colin Campbell
