Guest guest
Do you have questions about veganism? Do you have experiences about veganism you'd like to share? Do you want to have a supportive discussion with other vegans and vegan-friendly people? For our upcoming meetup, we're going to try something new: an open discussion about veganism. If you have any questions you'd like to ask or stories you'd like to share, come join us for a group discussion about all aspects of veganism. You're welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Whether you just learned about veganism, are thinking about veganism, are a new vegan, or are a long-time vegan, you're welcome to come and participate! Family and friends, vegan and non-vegan, are invited and welcome. We will share a vegan potluck dinner together on Saturday, March 7th at 5:30 pm and our discussion will begin at 6:30 pm. All food at the potluck is to be vegan. Come join us! We strongly believe veganism should be accessible to all. African Americans, Latinas/Latinos, Native Americans, Asians, Asian Americans -- all those who make up our vibrant community are invited and welcome to all events. If you have any accessibility requests, please contact us directly. Please see our web page for full details: http://www.meetup.com/vegans/calendar/9755367/ If you would like to be informed of all our events, we suggest you consider joining the meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/vegans/ What people have been saying about the meetings: * " This is the best meetup group ever! If you are vegan or vegetarian or remotely interested in being veg*n, you should be here. It's a group of people who are totally friendly, interesting, and fun to talk to. ... I was a little hesitant to attend this meetup at first, because I can be kind of shy, but I am really glad I did. It's a totally supportive atmosphere where you can discuss and explore what being a veg*n means to you. The people are great!! It's a perfect place to find a community of like-minded people. Miranda and Victor are awesome hosts and make everyone feel really welcome. " * " Miranda and Victor go out of their way to get to know everyone who shows up. This meetup is ideal if you're a veg*an who has just moved to the area and you don't know anyone, or if you just started being a veg*an and you want to meet others. It's also an opportunity to try out and share recipes. " * " Good food. Good people. Good discussion. " Also, a big thank you to you all for the very lively and thoughtful discussion during last month's presentation. If you have any more thoughts on the presentation, please feel free to share them with us all at the upcoming meetup. We look forward to seeing you on the 7th!
