Guest guest Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 On Tuesday, March 2, Patricia Allen Koot, N.E., certified nutrition educator, and David Koot will be giving a presentation on stress- reducing diet and environmental factors, including the role of enzymes in reducing stress, a list of stress-inducing foods, and environmental considerations which elevate stress. The presentation will include a list of specific food items which contribute to stress, as well as dietary choices which reduce stress. Also presented will be identifiable environmental factors which are stressful, including such items as lighting, color choices, noise factors, lifestyle issues and more. Strategies to combat and reduce stressors will be discussed. Recipes for stress-reducing food choices will also be shared. Patricia studied Nutrition Education at Bauman College in Penngrove. She has received acclaim throughout the Bay Area for her cooking classes and weekly vegan dinners. Patricia is also the author of several vegan cookbooks.
