Wed. Evening Vegan Dinner, Dixie Mahy Presents and Joseph Stegner

This Wed. evening at 6 p.m., we will have an extra-special event at the Red

Victorian. There will be the usual delicious and nutritionally-balanced vegan

dinner prepared by Patricia Allen, N.E., followed by a very special presentation

by our own Dixie Mahy. Here is what Dixie will be presenting:

 

" Love & Commitment "

 

Dixie Mahy will discuss a practical approach to a sustaining Love relationship

from a philosophical viewpoint and from everyday experience. She and her

husband Stan Mahy celebrated their 50th anniversary Feb 25 and she will share

their secrets of success. In this era of high divorce rates or multiple partner

non-marriage relationships, how does a lasting love happen? Come for a

delicious vegan dinner and stay for an enlightening yet entertaining evening.

 

Also, Joseph Stegner, the acclaimed Bay Area poet who shared an evening of

poetry with us just two weeks ago, was shot in the chest while trying to prevent

a mugging in Oakland. Joseph is now out of the hospital, and will be joining us

this Wed. evening to share his story. Come and give him the acclaim he

deserves. He put his life on the line to help someone.
