Guest guest Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 Tofu Dessert Competition and Festival Tofu haiku, tofu talk show, tofu games, contests and competitions Sunday, March 22nd, 2p - $10 adv / $12 door It's time to celebrate our favorite flavorless soy-based friend as Nichi Bei Times is hosting the first Tofu Dessert Competition & Festival in Japantown. Dozens of budding chefs whipping up creative dessert creations competing for a $100 prize, and with free tastings so everyone can be a judge, and demonstrations of Tofu recipes, a Tofu haiku contest, Tofu Speaker Talk Show and Tofu games for the kids. This event is a fundraiser for Nihonmachi Little Friends in San Francisco.
