WHY RAW FOODS?

Thursday, May 7th -- 7 pm -- Cafe Gratitude in Oakland

This free, one hour information session will introduce you to the

benefits of eating more raw foods. It will give you nutritional

background, and clear steps to help you feel great. You will learn

what raw, vegan foods are all about and why they are important for

optimal health. We will cover nutritional benefits and offer specific

immediate steps you can take to bring these foods into your diet.

Snacks will be served!

No pre-registration required.

 

Specific topics that will be covered include:

- The effects of cooking on different nutrients

- Where you get your protein on the raw food diet

- The raw food groups

- Food combining for better digestion

- How to maintain your ideal weight

- How to adapt to a raw food diet

- How to make raw food preparation quick and easy
