Guest guest
Last chance to save Blaikiewell Animal Sanctuary. Please sign the petition before 30 June 2009 There are plans to build a Peripheral Route, with a dual carriageway running through our land. Blaikiewell Animal Sanctuary stands to lose 20 acres and the road would have a devastating effect on the sanctuary and on the environment. There is a strong public feeling that the road is not necessary or in the wrong place and we await the finding of a Public Inquiry held last year, but even if the Reporter recommends that the road should not be built, the Scottish First Minister can overturn his decision. One of our neighbours, Liz Bracegirdle, has drawn up a petition to the Scottish Government. We are hoping to get a huge number of signatures from all over the world and your help would be so gratefully appreciated. Please click here to sign petition and pass it to all your friends- http://www.gopetiti on.co.uk/ online/22833. html Closing date: 30 June 2009. With thanks, and best wishes, Mavis Petrie. To the many good people who have signed so far. Please accept my sincere thanks. Most of you I have never met but I will never forget any of you. I am overwhelmed by your support and it is a constant source of strength at this trying time. Every good wish to you from all at Blaikiewell. 26th May 2009 Blaikiewell Animal Sanctuary SC026054 www.blaikiewell. com ---------- Checked by AVG - www.avg.com Version: 8.5.339 / Virus Database: 270.12.52/2152 - Release 06/03/09 05:53:
