Guest guest
Many of you may have had the chance to enjoy Flacos at the Berkeley farmer's market. We're excited to invite you to a special catered dinner from Flaco's on Sunday, June 27th in downtown Oakland. Here's a great opportunity to come support a local vegan business while enjoying great food and conversation! Full details to follow in a few days. For now, here's more information about Flacos: ___________________ Owner Antonio “Tony†Magana has been making vegan family-inspired recipes as Flacos since 2001. At the least, his wonderful food appears at Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Berkeley farmers’ markets as well as the Dia de los Muertos festival at the Oakland museum and the annual vegetarian fair in San Francisco. He’s a genuine, friendly Berkeley resident who wants to share healthy vegan food with those who are already committed to the non-animal choice and others who simply enjoy authentic, hand-prepared Mexican food. ___________________ We're also having our monthly vegan potluck this Sunday, June 14th, followed by an improv-inspired evening of fun. You may find full details at: http://www.meetup.com/vegans/calendar/10517643/ We strongly believe veganism should be accessible to all. African Americans, Latinas/Latinos, Native Americans, Asians, Asian Americans -- all those who make up our vibrant community are invited and welcome to all events. If you have accessibility requests for any of our meetups, please send us a note!
