We weren’t actually planning on going to the Los Angeles Veggie Pride Parade this past Sunday. But then one of our 15-year-old daughters heard about it and said, “Oh, can we go?! I want to be with my people!†We said, “Your people?†I guess the perspective of someone who turns veg in mid-life is a little different from someone who’s been raised vegan since birth, like our kids. So we said sure. We went to the Veggie Pride Parade, we took our kids, our video camera, we all had fun.
