Inductees into the " Vegetarian Hall of Fame 1993 - Jay and Freya Dinshah 1994 - Helen and Scott Nearing 1995 - Michael Klaper, MD 1996 - George Eisman, RD 1997 - Paul Obis 1998 - Mahatma Gandhi 1999 - Alex Hershaft, PhD 2000 - Murial Colura Golde 2001 - Patricia Lambert 2002 - Howard Lyman 2003 - Charles Stahler and Deborah Wasserman 2004 - Brian and Sharon Graff 2005 - Richard Schwartz, PhD 2006 - T. Colin Campbell, PhD 2007 - Brenda Davis, RD 2008 - Jo Stepaniak, MSEd 2009 - Joe Connelly and Colleen Holland Joseph Connelly showed tears visibly as he credited Colleen Holland for turning " beautiful " everything she touches, as the cofounders of VegNews magazine were inducted into the Vegetarian Hall of Fame.
