Guest guest
been open for weeks! Much less crowded than the other store and a lot more room in the aisles so it is more comfortable. For me, both stores let chefs in a half hour before they open so i never worry about crowds or lines Large organic produce section with a lot of local farms represented. Polar opposite of Whole foods who only support factory, fake organic farms and absolutely refuse to support local, family sustainable farms. Berkeley bowl is an absolutely amazing store with one of the greatest produce sections in the world. phil philip gelb phil http://philipgelb.com http://myspace.com/inthemoodforfood http://myspace.com/philipgelb On Jul 24, 2009, at 6:27 AM, rojony57 wrote: > Berkeley Bowl West (near Ashby and Interstate 80) > 922 Heinz at Eighth St., Berkeley > > (people in east bay know the store as a great bargain center for > produce, vegan products, etc.) > > >
