World Veg Volunteer Party on Jewish New Year (Fri eve, 9/18)

I'm really disappointed that the World Veg Volunteer Party & Orientation

is on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah, a Jewish High Holy Day). I

understand that events can't be planned without conflicting with

something or other (even the Veg Fest itself always conflicts with other

events going on in the city), but these events should NOT conflict with

major religious holidays. Although I speak and volunteer at the Veg Fest

annually, I unfortunately won't be able to attend this party. I'm still

very much looking forward to Oct. 3-4.

I imagine that this is an oversight and I trust that the volunteer party

will be rescheduled this year. John
