Come to a " quick & easy vegetarian cooking " lecture-demo on Tue. Aug. 4, from

6-7:30PM at the San Francisco Public Library, Main branch, at 100 Larkin St.,

Civic Center. Our very own Patti Breitman, who runs the Marin Vegetarian Group

and is co-author of " How to eat like a vegetarian even if you never want to be

one, " is our speaker. The program is free of charge. SFVS member Janet Tom, a

librarian at the Main Library, is coordinating the program. " I'm hoping for a

big turnout, because this will show there's a lot of interest in the topic and

then I can do more programs like this in the future. "
