Global Warming Resolution Adopted at the NAVS 2009 SUMMERFEST

Below is the NAVS global warming resolution, followed by an article I

co-wrote a couple years ago (for additional info on this very important

subject).

*Global Warming Resolution Adopted at the NAVS 2009 SUMMERFEST

 

*Whereas the world is rapidly approaching an unprecedented catastrophe

from global warming and other environmental threats; and

 

Whereas a major societal shift to plant-based diets is an essential part

of the necessary responses;

 

The North American Vegetarian Society (NAVS) will do everything possible

to make governments, groups and individuals aware of these realities and

will urge them to act according to this awareness.

 

Several groups at the SUMMERFEST endorsed the resolution.
