Update on Vegan Dinner and Evening of Art for Wed. Aug. 19

Our vegan chef, Patricia Allen Koot, has provided an update on the dinner menu

for this evening, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. The dinner will be featuring Indian Samosa

wraps, which include lightly spiced organic potatoes, peas and tofu, wrapped in

a wheat tortilla and baked. The result is outrageously delicious. The dinner

will be full course, nutritionally balanced and scrumptious.

 

The art presentation after dinner also has this update. Tom Flynn, Resident

Artist and SFVS Member, will have on display samples of his art work that

includes Graphite & Ink Drawings, Wood Burning, and Refractive Engraving on

Acrylic which he invented. He will discuss and demonstrate his techniques. His

art has been featured in numerous venues in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky,

and now California. In San Francisco he has exhibited at the Swallotail

Interiors and Royal Coffee House. His art work will be featured at the Café

Arrivederci, 11 G Street, San Rafael from August 28 to October 8 with a Salon

" Meet the Artist " on September 28th and Open Studios at 1450 Broadway, San

Francisco on October 24 & 25. For more information about these art events, call
