Odissi is a Tantric form of Indian Dance characterized by the ecstatic

expression of grace and power. The Dance unifies feminine and masculine energies

through fluid movement and rhythmic footwork. During an Odissi performance, the

dancer and audience enter an entranced state where divine beauty and vibrant

aliveness capture the heart.

Revital has been a passionate dancer all her life, and has been dancing Odissi

since 1996. She fell in love with Odissi in the land of its origin, Orissa, in

Southeast India, and she frequently travels there to draw inspiration from the

rich spiritual heritage of ancient India. In 2006 she was selected to present a

solo performance in the International Odissi Dance Festival in Orissa, India.

She is the only Non-Indian invited to perform at the prestigious National

Devadasi Festival in Orissa in October 2009.
