Join PETA and local activists for a Protest at McDonald's in Berkeley on

September 19

 

Please join PETA and local activists for a demonstration against McDonald's!

This is part of PETA's campaign to urge the company to stop breaking birds'

wings and legs, scalding them to death in defeathering tanks, and abusing them

in other heinous ways and to instead switch to a process called

" controlled-atmosphere killing, " or CAK. To learn more, visit McCruelty.com.

 

Volunteers are needed to hold signs and pass out leaflets, all of which will be

provided. You need only bring yourself and a friend! Please contact me at

When: Saturday, September 19, 12 noon - 1 p.m.

Where: McDonald's, 1998 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704-1032 (Three blocks

from downtown Berkeley BART)
