DON'T DONATE TO HSUS

 

Please DO NOT DONATE to the Humane Society of the United States when you can

donate to organizations with animal, human, and planetary interests more in

alignment with your beliefs, such as GO VEGAN RADIO, or farm animal rescue, or

dog & cat rescue operations. The Humane Society of the United States, contrary

to popular belief, runs no shelters. In a recent shocking interview - heard on

the sept 5 / 6 broadcast of GO VEGAN WITH BOB LINDEN, archived at

www.GoVeganRadio.com, the Chief Executive Officer of the HSUS, Wayne Pacelle,

admitted that the Humane Society of the United States does not promote veganism

(seemingly boasting that many of its board members aren't even vegetarian), does

not support animal rights, would not support the collapse of animal agriculture

- which he characterizes as a " noble " industry - and does not oppose all

hunting, zoos, circuses. Pacelle says HSUS does support " humane slaughter " , and

" certified humane " animal products - neither of which is possible, of course.

HSUS programs are counterproductive to the vegan and animal rights movement by

offering a false alternative to those who might choose veganism but instead can

opt for the delusion of humane animal products, humane meat, humane eggs created

by the HSUS publicity machine, making heroes of such serial animal killers as

Wolfgang Puck, while ignoring noble, cruelty-free chefs and restaurants. HSUS

sucks - $120,000,000 in annual donations - for not running shelters, and for not

supporting true animal issues. ENOUGH ALREADY!!! HSUS executives rake in six

figure salaries, and the first number of the six is not a 1. Now HSUS will

profit because it is associating itself with Michael Vick's rehabilitation. This

is the same HSUS that said Vick's dogs were too vicious, could not be

rehabilitated, and should be killed. Michael Vick thought those dogs should be

killed too. The media need to know - WAYNE PACELLE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR THE

ANIMAL RIGHTS MOVEMENT, NOR FOR ANIMALS. Who is he, anyway? He goes on Oprah

with egg industry people who say " you have a choice - cheap eggs or expensive

eggs. " Why doesn't Pacelle say you can choose NO eggs - because HSUS is the egg

industry, it is the meat industry - and we have been deceived.

 

It's shocking to learn that someone you thought was a friend is actually a foe.

The deception must end - that HSUS runs shelters or acts in the interests of

animals. Its Prop 2 was a scam, claiming it would end animal cruelty. HSUS must

have laughed all the way to the bank getting animal rights activists to be a

bunch of high-priced egg salesmen. Vegans must not ask people to eat cage-free

eggs. They must ask people to eat NO eggs. Wayne Pacelle and HSUS have no vision

of a vegan world. What a waste of $120,000,000 annually. Please do not donate to

HSUS. You might as well be giving it to McDonald's, because HSUS is more a part

of the meat industry than the animal rights / vegan movement. HSUS is for people

who want to feel good about eating meat or eggs - and " humane slaughter " and

" cage-free " are just the right excuses for not recognizing that all meat, all

eggs, all dairy are torture and murder. The truth would not be so profitable for

HSUS where the bottom line apparently is trhe bottom line. I urge all who

support the vegan cause and animal rights to never donate to HSUS again. Donate

to GO VEGAN RADIO or a rescue group instead. Unlike HSUS, GO VEGAN RADIO is

pro-vegan, pro-animal rights, against all hunting, zoos, circuses, and would

welcome the collapse of animal agriculture immediately. GO VEGAN RADIO opposes

" humane " slaughter, " Certified Humane " eggs, " organic " meat and dairy,

" cage-free " , " free range " , and all other deceptively delusionary hoaxes that

encorage consumption of animal products.
