A friendly young man whom I have come to know better as the years went by. Oscar started a 3,500 mile bicycle ride from Ocean Beach to DC White House. He is promoting a halt to climate change. Industrialized countries must adhere to an emissions reduction obligation of at least 40% below 1990 levels before the year 2020. Concurrently, a funding mechanism must be developed to end gross deforestation and associated emissions in all developing countries. We, the undersigned, demand that prior to attending the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December, you set a national emissions target that is science-based and legally binding.
