Dear Neil, On October 24, concerned citizens in San Francisco will take to the streets to raise awareness about the plight of farm animals - and raise vital funds for Farm Sanctuary’s rescue, education and advocacy work. Will you join them? Now more than ever, farm animals need people like you to spread the word about what’s happening to them on factory farms. They need you to be their voice. So, please consider taking your compassion to the streets by participating in the 2009 San Francisco Walk for Farm Animals. Your $15 registration fee entitles you to our limited edition 2009 Walk t-shirt, designed by Herbivore Clothing Company Founder Josh Hooten. To reserve your shirt, make sure to register by October 3. Joyce Tischler, animal law attorney and co-founder of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, will be our special guest. We’ll have an awards ceremony to honor our highest fundraisers and a drawing for great prizes, so please plan to join us! If you can’t join the Walk, please consider making a donation. Every dollar counts in our work to protect farm animals from abuse, neglect and cruelty. For more information, contact local Walk Coordinators Karine Brighten and Tania Rose.To register - or make a gift of support - visit walkforfarmanimals.org today!
