(I went to Loving Hut SF for lunch today, $5.95 , includes two entrees, rice and soup. It's a very good deal.)

Entrees offered at their hot trays: curry with potatoes, lotus root , vermicilli, "pork" bun, pot stickers, curry samosas, spring rolls, eggplant with tofu, mushrooms with string beans, chow mein, fried rice, brown rice,

Soup of the day : Winter Melon soup[sunny]

brown rice is 50cents extra, chow mein and fried rice is considered an entree

(all standard fare)

Anybody interested in a Tuesday[sunny] Oct 27 lunch at 12 noon?[sunny] sorry Wed lunch at Loving Hut I have to cancel since my friend can't make it that day.

Everything I had was delicious. My favorite was the curry. The flavor is great. i think meat eaters might think the food might be kind of bland. To please their taste buds, they might need to add more soy sauce and chili sauce.

"It is a beautiful sight. The caring behavior of the three young coaches is the essence of the revolutionary spirit that Che Guevara meant when he said 'True revolution is about tenderness.'"-Alice Walker, author, The Color Purple

"I deeply enjoyed this true story of one man's transformation that gives hope to us all. In its courage and compassion, it reflects the larger theater of our humanity: a few young guys who work at Cafe Gratitude, responding to Frank's wish to find love one more time, set out to change his life and maybe save his soul as they guide and support him on a life-changing challenge he could never have predicted and would not likely have taken on his own."

-Dan Millman, author, Way of the Peaceful Warrior"This film is a triumph... where the hero defeats the villain within himself AND gets the girl in the end. I've followed Frank on his transformational journey a few times now, and each time I do, I awaken to something new and true about my own life's purpose. This film is an amazing gift for those looking to cultivate their soul resources." -Jason Mraz, MusicianWhenThursday, October 29th, 20097:30pm WhereCollect Gallery Annex815 Broadway Street, Oakland, CA 94607COST: FREERSVP: (this event is limited in size)RSVP HEREget directions hereSee the trailer herelearn more about Frank

Live Music at the Berkeley Cafe!Folk Jazz with Blind MiceThis week, it's local jazz artists: Blind Mice!Blind Mice is a creative trio that draws from the Jazz and American Folk traditions, while integrating influences of indie rock, pop and free improvisation. This trio's mission is to bring innovative music to listeners with open ears. Before their move to Berkeley, guitar player Drew Brown was active in the creative Brooklyn scene, while bassist Doug Stuart led his own experimental pop group called Pear and the Pepper in Ann Arbor, during which time drummer Shaun Lowecki helped develop a modern jazz group called Moseyhorse in Phoenix. The three childhood friends have reconvened in the East Bay, each bringing their unique voice to form a group sound all their own. Blind Mice's fresh sound will saturate and captivate the ears of all willing to listen. Check out their myspace page here

The Abounding River WorkshopThis November with Terces & Matthew EngelhartThe Abounding River Workshop introduces people to an unfamiliar view of being abundance. It encompasses both training people in a day-to-day practice as well as discovering a Spiritual foundation that awakens one to a whole new way of looking at and interacting with money and resources. Participants experience themselves as being at the source of unlimited supply. Abundance is a way of being alive that replaces scarcity and survival with an awareness of always being provided for. This workshop is offered by donation. You are a student in the school of transformation, and these are your core classes in this school.
