Guest guest
The Vegan Day Banquet at the Red Victorian is on Wednesday the 4th, not the 3rd. Time is 6pm, and location is 1665 Haight St., San Francisco. All you can eat, totally vegan and health-supporting, for a minimum donation of $10.00. After the banquet, stay for the presentation, this week a debate. RSVP to 707-774-1904 or email to: info. Next week, Wed. the 11th (got it right this time) there will be a book signing and presentation by Patti Breitman. She is the founder and director of the Marin Vegetarian Education Group and a former food columnist for VegNews magazine. In addition, she has been a publishing consultant to many of the vegetarian world's best known leaders including John Robbins, Howard Lyman, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Alan Goldhammer, and Ingrid Newkirk. She has been teaching vegan cooking classes for 12 years. Her book, How To Eat Like A Vegetarian Even If You Never Want To Be One: More Than 250 Shortcuts, Strategies and Simple Solutions (Lantern Books, 2008), will be on sale and she will be available to sign. Don't miss this special opportunity and presentation. That's Wednesday the 11th at 6 p.m., at the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco.
