Learn secrets and techniques to making: Pumpkin Pie with almond cream Seitan stuffed squash Yummy Cranberry Sauce Wild Rice Chestnut Pilaf Hot Spiced Apple Cider A Medley of Vegetable Dishes Susanne Jensen, a native of Denmark , has been teaching macrobiotic cooking in Australia, Europe and the United States for 25 years. She is a graduate of the the Kushi Institute in Boston where she taught for years. Susanne was instrumental in the founding of Marty’s Natural Foods restaurant in San Francisco where she was head chef. She has been a cooking instructor for College of Marin, The Macrobiotic Learning Center in Oakland, and Lawernce Livermore Laboratory. Since 1999 she has been teaching cooking at Willard Middle School in Berkeley. For the past 9 summers Susanne has been head chef at French Meadows Macrobiotic Summer camp. Barbara Johnston-Brown, a California native, began her love of cooking with both grandmothers. After 15 years as a Critical Care nurse she turned to her passion for food and health. Studying and working as a pastry chef, caterer, and home gardener for many years. Expanding her knowledge of disease and healing with eastern philosophy as well as all alternative modalities.
