Guest guest Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 San Francisco Vegetarian Society members are invited to participate in a habitat restoration project in conjucntion with Save the Bay on February 20, 2010 from 9am-noon. We will be planting native plants to establish habitat for native species such as the Clapper Rail at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline www.ebparks.org/parks/mlk Information about Save the Bay www.saveSFbay.org No experience necessary. Tools and instruction will be provided. Dress in layers and be prepared to get dirty. Wear close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended. Also, please bring a re-usable water bottle, so we do not contribute to plastic waste. Children are welcome to participate if they are supervised. Light rain does not cancel.
