Nationally acclaimed psychologist Michael Edelstein, PhD, author of the

award-winning book, " Three Minute Therapy, " has challenged David Koot, a layman,

to a debate this Wed. evening, Feb. 3 at 6 pm. The topic is, " Self-esteem:

Helpful or Harmful?' The winner of this lopsided contest will be no surprise,

but Koot, the anticipated loser, will essay to do all that honor requires, in

the finest tradition of 'the heroic last stand, outnumbered by overwhelming

forces.' This debate is part of the ongoing educational series on whole-person

wellness.

The debate will be preceded by a scrumptious, true gourmet vegan dinner at 6 pm.

Tastefully prepared by Patricia Allen Koot, N.E, certified Nutrition Educator,

the dinner is fully vegan, with no eggs or dairy, organic and health-promoting

as nutritionally balanced--AND delicious! More and more people are discovering

the distinctive culinary artistry Patricia brings to her dinners. She is able

to recreate favorite tastes and flavors in a totally vegan menu, for a truly

unforgettable dining experience.

All this, for the unbelievably low price of $10.00 requested donation, which

helps cover the costs of the food. The chef donates her time. Come experience

it! Location is the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco. Space is

limited, so it is important to RSVP. Phone 707-774-1904 or email to:

info.
