Guest guest
Hi Everyone, We've gotten a terrific response for our annual SFVS Chinese New Year celebration on Sat. Feb. 27, at 5pm. Over 40 people will be enjoying our fabulous ten-course banquet at Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant, 839 Kearny St. in Chinatown. Afterward, many of us will step out and watch the Parade coming down the road for its finale. There is still room for you! If you want to join us, please sent a $20 check, made out to SFVS, to our treasurer, J.C.Cadiz, 73 Rondel, SF 94103. We must give the restaurant a final head count on Thursday, so send those checks pronto. Sorry, we will not be able to accept last-minute requests. Here is our menu: Appetizers 1. Fried spring rolls 2. Crispy tofu w/salt & chili peppers Soup 3. Veggie shark's fin soup Entrees 4. Taro, gluten puff, pumpkin in coconut sauce 5. Eggplant with sea bass 6. Lettuce wrap w/shredded mushroom, veggie chicken, vegetables and pine nuts 7. Chinese broccoli with ginger and cooked wine 8. Giant pea sprouts with gingko nuts 9. Fresh mushrooms with fried soft tofu and vegetables The cost of this meal, only $20, includes brown rice, tea, tax and tip, drinks are on your own.
