SFVS meets IVU Director John Davis & Vegan Bollywood photos

Last week, England-based John Davis, Director of International Vegetarian Union

(www.ivu.org), met with SFVS members to discuss hosting the 2012 World

Vegetarian Congress in North America! Promoting vegetarianism worldwide since

1908, IVU holds biennial World Vegetarian Congress at host cities worldwide to

publicize the vegetarian cause. SFVS President Dixie Mahy attended the World

Vegetarian Congress in Maine in 1975; this year, Jakarta/Bali, Indonesia will

host; next year, a North American city will host—could it be SF?!
