[SFVS] Looking for a Vegan friendly restaurant in SF - close to BART

places that come to mind that are completely vegetarian, with vegan friendly options, nearby, do not serve alcohol. but about one mile east down market [take the old time street cars or walk] at Pier 3 [near Ferry Building] is http://www.theplantcafe.com/

but now they have a new location at Pine at Front on California

they have vegan options [as well as vegetarian and meat options] and beer, wine, & champagne. i'd call first before going to the new location since they are so new, just to verify. but the new one might be closer than Pier 3.

 

i've been to the Pier 3 location and was quite pleased. but other places right next to powell street station don't come to mind, others might have better location thoughts.
