Richmond District Supervisor Eric Mar, who honored SFVS with a Commendation on

the occasion of our 10th Annual World Veg Fest last October, is seeking persons

interested in organizing a community farmers' market in the Richmond District.

People are needed to participate in a planning committee, work on finding a site

for the market, help with outreach, set up and break down of the market, etc.

Sup. Mar's office has contacted the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce

Development to help guide the process of setting up a farmers' market. If

interested, please contact Sup. Mar's office at City Hall
