Archeologists recently unearthed a burial sitein Turkey containing the bodies of 60 Roman gladiators.Tests to their remains led researchers to concludethe gladiators ate an exclusively plant-based diet.In fact, researchers used the word "vegan" to describe the gladiators.Wait, aren't vegans those guys you see carrying signs outside KFC protesting animal cruelty?Yeah. And gladiators ate a vegan diet, too.In the following video John McDougall MD describes the new find on gladiators.
