Guest guest
Sorry for the late notice, but we just received all the demonstration materials and are anxious to hold our first demonstration after a year of investigations and research! Please join LGBT Compassion, Army of Compassion and other animal advocates for a peaceful demonstration against animal cruelty on Sunday, March 14 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the NE corner (near the water fountain and the big poultry trucks) of the Heart of the City Farmers Market in San Francisco on Market St. between Hyde and 7th St. next to the Civic Center BART. (Sorry it has to be so early, but the chickens sell out around 10.) I’d like to ask our volunteers to not engage in discussions related to race or culture should the topic arise, as this is not relevant to our campaign. We are simply there to help the animals and try to enforce the laws. Brochures and signs will be provided. A sample of the brochure is available online here www.LGBTcompassion.org/livemarkets/brochure-web.pdf. More information, including a legal analysis, photos and videos are available at www.LGBTcompassion.org/livemarkets. And don’t forget to set your clocks ahead Saturday night for Daylight Saving Time! Thanks, Andrew
