Guest guest
The presenter at the Vegan St. Patty's Day Feast this Wed., March 17 at 6 pm, will be noted Bay Area activist Nora Kramer. Nora is the founder and director of Youth Empowered Action (YEA) Camp, an innovative vegan summer camp for youth who want to make a difference in the world. She is an experienced animal and social justice activist and long-time vegan who has spent thousands of hours promoting these passions in many different ways, including humane education, grassroots outreach, letters to the editor, public access TV, and more. She is also co-founder of the Bay Area Animal Rights Network, and was the co-coordinator for the Bay Area region's signature-gathering to qualify the Proposition 2 campaign for the ballot. Nora's topic will be: Turning Our Passion Into Action. We'll connect to our passions for what's most important to us, and look at opportunities we can create and actions we can take to fulfill on these, as well as examine those things that stop each of us from stepping into our own leadership and making the biggest difference we can make. ENJOY a delightful evening featuring an Irish-inspired vegan menu, wonderful old Irish songs such as, The Wearin' O' the Green, The Minstrel Boy, Annie Laurie, Bantry Bay and more. Sing-along after dinner, then savor an important presentation by Nora designed to help activists be effective in turning passion into action! Don't miss this unforgettable evening. RSVP to 707-774-1904 or email to: info. Ten dollar minimum donation covers the all you can eat dinner, the music and the presentation.
