Guest guest
Today I was called upon to taste-test homemade vegan corned beef planned for this Wednesday's St. Patrick's Day vegan Irish dinner at the Red Victorian. It was amazing! Can you believe, vegan corned beef that LOOKS like, SMELLS like and TASTES like the Real McCoy? Not a wimpy imitation that you put up with for the sake of healthy, compassionate diet, but something so authentic that you would swear it is the real thing! Even if you haven't savored corned beef in the past, you won't want to miss this dish! Check it out for yourself this Wednesday, the 13th at 6pm at the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco--ALONG WITH homemade creamy, white horseradish sauce, Irish scalloped potatoes, homemade Irish oatmeal bread, and barley mushroom and greens pilaf. Dessert is whole blackberries with pink lady apples, in a luscious sauce. This exceptional menu is hand-prepared with skill by Patricia Allen Koot, N.E., certified Nutrition Educator, from organic ingredients, and without eggs, dairy or added sugars. Don't miss this special vegan Irish-inspired St. Patrick's Day feast! And stay for an outstanding presentation by Bay Area activist Nora Kramer afterwards, along with traditional Irish songs. All this for a Ten Dollar minimum donation. RSVP to 707-774-1904 or email to: info David Koot
