Guest guest
Spring Equinox Cooking Workshop with Radhika Sunday March 21, 8am-12pm Growing up in the family restaurant business, it is only natural that Radhika has found a direct path to the culinary field. A self-taught chef, she gained her knowledge through in-person education, diving into her collection of countless cookbooks, and most importantly hands-on experience in her kitchen laboratory. In her teens she gained experience with Asian cooking at her parent's restaurant, then detoured into a special order baking business, baking everyday items from cookies and cakes to extraordinary items such as pastries and wedding cakes. More recently, she served as a lead vegetarian cook at the Sivananda Yoga Farm Ashram, a raw foods chef at the Tree of Life resort, and a volunteer chef at the San Francisco Sivananda Yoga Center. She is also a private chef and caterer. Passionate about nutrition and balanced eating through the use of whole grains, legumes, seasonal fruits and vegetables has led Radhika to continue her mission to share the gift of good vegetarian food to those within and outside her community.
