Guest guest
Experience a unique international theme vegan dinner this Wed. evening, Apr. 7th at 6 pm! Savor toppings like Patricia's scrumptious vegan nacho cheeze sauce, papaya-mango salsa, MUCHO guacamole, other traditional toppings, Mexican asparagus salad, spring mix leaf lettuce salad with pepitas, and delicious main dishes. More details on those main dishes to follow. Location is the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco. After dinner, the presentation will focus on addictions, including food addictions and more. Robert Huffmaster is interested in organizing a food addiction support group. Then, a debate follows. Dr. Michael R. Edelstein will take that people are able to overcome addictions. Dr. Edelstein has an in-person and telephone therapy practice in San Francisco. He is the author of Three Minute Therapy (www.ThreeMinuteTherapy.com), a self-help book for overcoming common emotional and behavioral problems, for which he has been awarded Author of the Year. He is the San Francisco Professional Advisor for SMART Recovery, self-help groups for individuals recovering from addictions. David Koot, a layman, will dispute that position and contend that individuals are NOT able to overcome their addictions, unaided. Both presenters will offer tips and techniques to deal with addictions. Ten dollar donation covers the all-you-can-eat dinner and the presentation. RSVP to 707-774-1904 or email to: info.
