S.F. farmers market animal cruelty protest Wed. 4/21

Animal Advocates,

Please join LGBT Compassion and other animal advocates for a peaceful demonstration against animal cruelty on Wed., April 21 at 9:00 a.m. to appx. 10:30 a.m. at the Heart of the City Farmers Market in San Francisco on Market St. between Hyde and 7th St. next to the Civic Center BART.

PLEASE - we really need more volunteers, so we can have an even stronger impact - especially as the person who has been partnering with me on this campaign has decided to leave. It's very easy, and the public is quite receptive and willingly take the brochures.

Has anyone handed out literature in the smelly meat area at the Embarcadero Farmer's Market on Sunday? I walked by on Sunday and was shocked to see at least 30 chickens being roasted and the line went around the corner. It was awful.
