2010 WORLD WIDE VEGAN BAKE SALEhttp://www.veganbakesale.org/veganbakesale/vbs-where.html#san-francisco-2010-02The Loving Hut will be participating in the 2010 World Wide Vegan Bake Saleas a fund-raiser for the San Francisco Vegetarian Society Saturday, April 24, 2010, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.Patricia's Green in Hayes ValleyHayes & OctaviaDrop by and support the San Francisco Vegetarian Society by buying and/or donating some vegan baked goodies!If you would like to bake your favorite vegan recipe, bring it to the Bake Sale.Here are the guidelines: Use ingredients that are purely animal-free, no dairy or eggs, no casein or gelatin,and use vegan organic sugar (organic powdered as well), The San Francisco Vegetarian Society (www.sfvs.org) is a non-profit 501©3 organization promoting a plant-based diet as a healthful, humane, and earth sustaining way of life for forty two years. Run entirely by volunteers, the Society hosts a variety of events, including lectures by leaders and experts in the veg movement, potlucks, cooking demos, & out reach activities. It sponsors a WORLD VEG FESTIVAL that attracted 5,500 attendees last year. The 11th annual Festival will be Oct 2 & 3, 2010.
