Story that aired this morning on the Today Show

Sadly, thousands of viewers will be amused by the mooing sounds

and " cute " alliterations made in this story, such as " Farm to Fork "

and " Pasture to Plate " . They'll also be unaffected by the direct

connection between the peaceful, sentient beings they see on the

screen and the burger on their plate.

Thanks to years of brainwashing by the meat and dairy industries

(and the fitness industry shoving the " need " for protein down our

throats), people are resigned to the fact that it's, " just the way

things have to be " when it comes to the slaughter of gazillions of

animals and the precautions that have to be taken in order to eat

them. That said, I guess it's no surprise people continue to put

themselves and their families at risk, rather than just stop eating

meat (the lies run deep don't they?)

Eventually (and I hope this happens in my lifetime), there aren't

going to be enough bandages and remedies for this hemorrhaging

industry.
