Guest guest
Thank you! This site is unfortunately closed to new member until April 1st, will go back there then. Does anybody know which multivitamin/mineralbrands have not been tested on animals and are vegan? I used Solaray so far but after sending the company an email and getting a reply back stating that this would have to be discussed over the phone, and after not hearing back from them after explaining per email that I can't use the phone as I am almost deaf and my TDD doesn't work, it would have to be via email, I ama ssuming that they do animal testing. Guest guest
Hi Cheyenne. I hope the below reply helps you. I have a expert friend at PCRM, who has never steered me wrong before and he offered the following advice regarding vitamins... " ... there are many vegan vitamins and supplements. Make sure " vegan " is on the label, that it's not a gelatin capsule, and that the vitamin D source is D2 (from plants) and not D3 (from animals)...there are too many brands to name, and you can find them pretty widely. As for animal testing, you just have to read the label. I doubt any company tests vitamins on animals, because the components of vitamins and supplements have all been through that many years ago. There are companies making vitamins that don't test any of their products on animals, so that's a safe way to go. " Let me know how this works for you. Again, great posts today. Keep it up! We love hearing from our members. Best wishes. Margaret , Christine Bradley <chaag62 wrote: > > Thank you!
