You're welcome. It's Avoderm, I got it at Petco. yes, I have tried the vegetarian dog food, Bessie is not exactly happy about it so that I am going to try to put some veggie broth in it and see if she would like that more. I feed her molasses dog cookies from Trader's Joe, she loves those. Barbara <urbanveggie wrote: Thanks. Di dyou have a chance to check the right name? Looks good. I will look in petsmart. Don't have petco close by and I

do not like them for some reason :-)

I also try to mix nutritional yeast in their food and they seems to

like the flavor. I need to try to make MArgaret's dog cookie recipe.

It sounded great.

Also is the Avoderm off the poisones dog food list?

thanks a bunch

ARe you guys talking about the dog food that Vegan

Essentials sells? Please let me know how it works out for

you. I'm thinking of putting my service dogs on it, but

would like some feed back.

I don't know, but I went to the PetSmart today and found the Avoderm

even the vegetarain formula and bought small bag and 2 cans of the

vegetarian version. I will try it. One of my dogs is all eater and one

staffie is a picky meat lover LOL so I will see. It was even very

resonable priced compare to some of the organic specialty dog foods I

saw which costs many times 3x as much.

I aalso looked all the dog foods lists and did not find it on the

recall list but nor on the PETA aproved list of non-animal tested

foods. Well, I guess I have to take it one step at the time. :-)

I feed my dog Natural Balance vegetarian formula (it is vegan).

This brand was not on the recall list.

She's been eating it for the last two years and has been very

healthy. But I do mix it with a little bit of

canned food which contains meat.

It's sold at petco, but not petsmart.
